Has the site been flaky for everybody today? Sometimes it's responsive and at other times it keeps timing out for me. Anybody else seeing these issues?

The site is buckling under the heavy traffic it's receiving lately. (Heh.)

Seriously though, not sure what's up. Probably issues with the underlying hosting service, Dreamhost. I assume it'll be short-lived. Let's see how it looks tonight and tomorrow.

Yeah, it's been back to normal for about half an hour, now - maybe just a little glitch.....

Should have told me you were hosting there. They are usually pretty good.

Been going back and forth. Just had more issues until now.

None of this would be happening if we had just traded for Gasol.

It's been 24 hours now of the site being up and down. It was just down again for a while. Let's see how it does tomorrow.

Thanks! I have had intermittent issues connecting. I don't think it's anything in our site's software itself. But I haven't received any emails from DH about it, other than one a week ago saying that they were moving my site to a new physical hardware server host. I wonder if that's related.

Yeah, it's getting more wonked than not lately.....

Talked to my friend he said new customers are often put on the least stable machines, and that you may need to e=mail them and tell them the site hasn't been stable (prolonged outages, slow load times) and that you'd like to be moved. He said message board software is often really CPU intense and that's not necessarily a bad thing unless you're on a server with a bunch of other CPU hogs, then bad things happen. He also had some tech advice that was over my head, wanted you to log into your shell account and input some commands then screen grab the read out, but it's up to you if you want to do that...

Mori, site is less and less stable. Goes away for hours at a time only to be available for a few minutes. Please contact Dreamhost when you get a chance.

It definitely seems to be. The problems started suddenly and consistently.
