Anyone know much about Darion Atkins

The only two I know that aren't playing in summer league are Peters and Ulis. Bender is listed on the roster, although the roster is only 6 guys right now and without a pg.

We have a lot of young guys who need the PT and touches so I'm fine not going crazy with UDFAs but I would've liked to see some bigs on the roster.

F/C attended Virginia and was ACC Defensive Player of the year in 2015 , wasn't drafted and played in G League was 10th in blks 2015-16 season

With Ulis out, I'd let Jackson, Bender, and Reed run a lot of the offense in summer league. It'll be good for their development.

Bender may still be recovering, but I also read that he would be playing for his national team during the Summer. I remember thinking it was not the best idea when I read it. That was a couple of months before the season ended so I'm not sure if he still is or if his national team is even doing anything this Summer.

I'm not opposed to that. Winning isn't the most important thing, but it would be nice.

I hope Bender will get a lot of playing time, I think he just needs to be more confident and his shot will start falling. The rest will come.

Good pickup (for Summer League). He was on our 2015 squad and fills our PG hole. He's also fiery like the rest of our crew.
