Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP
It is your Phoenix Suns home opener! No McCollum improves our chances but if Len can't go it decreases them. It's so great to have Suns basketball back! Buckle up for an up and (mostly) down season.
Go Suns!!!

I have zero expectations for team success this season but am really looking forward to seeing how the young guys go. I'm all in on Jackson - think he'll be a stud and complements Booker well. I'd looooove to see Bender step up and show something this season.

Yeaaaa it's Game Day , like most will agree for me it's just about not being pathetic this season. I really hope the guys can show some growth and be competitive in games more often than not. Interested to see what direction this TJ - Josh - Chriss minutes rotation goes and what Chriss being on the bench does for Bender's backup PF/C minutes

Of course we don't have any real goals this season in terms of wins, so it's the little things I will look for. Improvement from any of our young bigs: Bender, Chriss, Len. Is Jackson legit? Can he be a starter on a great team? I think he basically has to be our second-best player after Booker for this to work out. I'm also looking for a big year from Warren, probably with more minutes at the 4. I think that'll be the spot he ends up playing at the most, given the way the league is going.
Otherwise I'll just be waiting for us to trade away veterans and give minutes to younger guys like Ulis and Jones Jr, who I still like a lot.

Who, Len? I'd probably do the same if I were playing on the QO and set to become an unrestricted free agent. I'd take no chances with any injury.

He rolled an ankle in practice. Needs a little time to heal. It happens. Its the type of injury that happens to every player at some point.

If that's the price AC Green paid, I'd rather have my ankles removed.

I would add "too bad" to that phrase. We need that top 5 pick in this next talent-laden draft.

I was just listening to Portland sports radio and them talking about this game. They are thinking that there is a little bad blood between them and Phoenix going into the game. The host thought that there might be some altercation between Swanigan and Len, but then his guest said that Len may not play. The host then thought that Caleb would be happy about that and not having to deal with Len.
They also didn't think it was going to be a problem for them to score and of course was wondering what was going the starting lineup going to be for the Blazers. Not too much there otherwise. I thought it was slightly interesting, at least their view of this opening game.

Ok, listening to another radio station for the Blazers, they think that the Blazers should put the game out of reach by the end of the 1st quarter. At least that's what they are subscribing and believe that Turner is going to be starting to minimize Booker and Bledsoe because of his defense. Also, they believe that the front court should dominate in the paint offensively and defensively with their rim protection and rebounding.
They do have some nice front court pieces, especially if they can't miss from the outside.
