Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT / 10:00 pm ET)
Place: Moda Center, Portland, OR
TV: FSAZ/NBALP
The Suns start their road trip in Portland on Saturday night. The same team who gave them their embarrasing opening night beatdown. I don't expect to win this one but I expect us to put up a fight (hopefully not literally) and be respectable.
On a side note, I'm heading out to New York ahead of the Suns tomorrow afternoon and I'll probably not be available to put up game day threads until the Sunday game in San Antonio to end the road trip. I will be at both the Nets game in Brooklyn and the Knicks game at MSG. I will be sporting my brand new Booker jersey at both games. So if you see a guy getting thrown out in a ripped Booker jersey, you'll know it's me.

Enjoy the trip/game, and thanks as always for making the great Game Day threads. Who's going to step up in his absence and try to fill his large shoes? The "Dis • cuss" is mandatory on every Game Day thread.

I think will happen, because of the new rotations and position balance, along with the new focus on playing hard on both ends. No way this gets out of control again, imo. It was a pathetic half-hearted effort last time with guys playing in positions they weren't comfortable in.

Thanks guys! I’m at the airport now waiting to board. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Suns do tonight. If nothing else, I expect good effort on both ends of the court.

I'm expecting a good game from Mike James. He's from Portland, and he played really well there in the preseason game.

What a lame reason for that foul. Doesn't matter if his arms are out if the arms never touch the offensive player.

+1 Totally agree with this. Literally screamed at the TV on this one. Refs have been crap so far, imo.
