Starting Lineups

PG should go to Canaan. It's too obvious to ignore now.
SG is the east one, Booker once healthy.
C I would start Len, give this lineup a chance.
PF here's a controversial idea...start Monroe here.
SF...this I'd the hardest one to figure out. Are we stunting Jackson by not starting him? TJ has been one of our spark plugs...hard to keep him off the court.

That lineup can't space the floor at all.
At PF, you need Bender or Chriss to start for their shooting. Monroe could start for us, but if so, it'd be at center. I would still prefer Len to start.
SF is tough for us because neither Warren nor (especially) Jackson can hit 3s, which hurts our spacing. TJ desperately needs to go lock himself in a gym and practice 1000 corner 3s a day all offseason. Jackson needs to hire an all-summer shooting coach and work on rebuilding his form all offseason.
In terms of PG, Canaan is fine, but I would also be okay with Ulis.

Such a depressing exercise. We have only one starter-caliber player on the roster.

Yeah, you almost hope Knight comes back as a high end pg next year, just so they don't have to fill one more position. Could use a center and hope Len could play backup or vice versa, both Jackson and Warren fix their shooting woes and get better. Need Reed to be a high end backup, possibly play Booker at pg with Daniels or Reed. And definitely either need a better pf or Bender and Chriss to make quantum leaps in development.

I am starting to think that our team might be bad.

This year, I agree, but it better not the same next year. In fact, it better be HIGHLY improved.

I feel like the only reason that's not our starting lineup is to protect the feelings/confidence of Chandler/Chriss.

Funny this been made a Topic
I was thinking about the lineups when Devin comes back for the longest while and wondering if we could just go all Harden/D'antoni experiment with Book and let Ulis/Canaan be who n what they are which is simply back up PGs. the problem is the Josh n TJ pairing on the wing which would be an issue if Tyson also starting.
The starters been bad regardless so what's the worst that could happen running a Devin/Josh/TJ/Chriss/Monroe and leave the Bench Mob together Canaan/Daniels/Bender/Len with Ulis rotating in at times. Unless we start both Book n Daniels or both Chriss n Bender spacing will always be an issue because of our roster so I would just rather throw Josh out there than Ulis

You know who would look terrific in that lineup instead of Daniels? Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Better yet, an actual point guard.

So... When is Canaan going to be moved to starting PG? He's just more experienced and tested. It seems to me it might even help Ulis to be the backup PG and play with that second unit. It just makes sense to me to make the switch. Your takes?

Ulis' production has been all over the place so far. His play late last season was encouraging but the injury cut his rythm and it showed. Canaan at least is a threat from 3. Neither is a solution. I am starting to aligh with those who came up with Booker at nominal PG. I have doubts about who should be alongside him.
All I know is Booker-Jackson-Warren-Bender-Len should be seeing a lot of playing time together.
