These don't quite count as QOTDs, but:
- Without looking, who is the Suns' third-highest scorer in terms of PPG?
- Without looking, who leads our team in assists?
(This team is really bad.)

Canaan on both accounts?

DING DING DING
What would this team look like without Booker and TJ basically keeping us in games?
The starting unit that gets sent out every night makes me want to cry. They are basically trying to score 2 on 5, with the other 3 basically needing to be spoon fed opportunities.
Granted, the offense doesn’t do the players any favors, but we definitely need more diverse players.

Monroe is averaging (slightly) more points than Canaan.

Bobster is right. But some would disqualify Canaan for having played so few games, I suppose.

Monroe doesn’t have that many more.

The point being that we don't really have a 3rd scoring option, and that we don't have a primary distributer.
If you ask, 'who is the third leading scorer on the court at the end of the game', the current answer would be Daniels.

You know, when TJ Warren is your second-best player, Isaiah Canaan is your third-best player, and your first-best player has missed a quarter of the season with injury... it's kind of incredible that we're doing as well as we are.

Methinks Triano gets at least some of the credit.
He's not particularly flamboyant or innovative, but he's making headway in developing some of these guys while evaluating available talent.
Beats the shit out of sermons, yoga and reflections on John Wooden ...

We don't have 2 stars, but maybe our young guys aren't trash after all.

After last night's win, we now have the best record in the bottom 3rd of the league. :/
Any predictions on how many of the next 12 we win?

In case you were feeling deprived of trade rumors:

Would anyone jump on this? Randle & Clarkson?

No thanks unless it comes with their next available pick unprotected. I am not about making favors to the Lakers for free. Clarkson is a questionable contract and in any case, useless to us. Randle is a bad contract waiting to happen.

That's not rumors, is trade talk. I was worried it could actually happen, but nowadays it turns out that people can "report" what anyone have suggested on any media.
We would translate our logjam at center for another at PF, but this one will block the already slow development of Bender and Chriss. And altough Clarkson has been a great finding for LA, not sure how he would mesh with Booker, and he is not a distributor, so I pass too.
Would Utah be interested in a Monroe/Favors swap? Both are expiring, and with Gobert on board (currently injured but still), the Jazz could be one the few teams that can afford milking Monroe's offense at PF while Rudy take care of the defense. With Rubio they would deeply lack spacing, but we could take him out of their hands for Len (cap relief) or Dudley (hey, they need a Hayward replacement, right?

). I think that Gobert's emergence will push Favors out of Utah, looking for steady playing time.

If it wasn't for Chriss' recent breakoutish and Canaan's play, I would have jumped on that trade. Are the Suns trying to win this year and legitimately make the playoffs? If so, Randle and Clarkson are better than Chriss and Canaan.
I hope that Chriss has turned a corner and starts to really show growth through the rest of the year, but I would still take Bagley over him if I had to make a decision.
