Game Day: Pelicans (44-34) @ Suns (20-59), Fri 4/6/18

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

With the TWolves and Clippers losing on Thursday, this is a chance for the Pelicans to move into contention for the 8th and final spot. Josh has become our #1 scoring option since Booker and Warren have been out:
Booker has missed the last nine games with a sprained right hand and Warren has missed the last eight with a hip injury. Neither is expected to play against New Orleans.

"You kind of welcome the fact that he's ready to take it," Suns interim coach Jay Triano said of Jackson's willingness. "Some guys will panic with two or three seconds to go, worry about (his shooting) percentage.

"But Josh is just thinking, 'I got to do whatever's right, I got to put it up, I got to get it on the rim, maybe (Alex) Len can knock it out, maybe Marquese (Chriss) can get a rebound.' He's not afraid of the moment, that's for sure.

"He's electric in the open court. He's electric if you get him a little bit of an angle and a lane to the basket. Making shots, and from the perimeter, will be an addition to what he can do. And when he does that it's going to be great."
Go Suns!!!

NOP are currently in sole possession of 7th place, but with a loss, they would fall into a three team tie for 7-9th.

The dog days of the tanking season. Worth having this one on in the background to see the Brow if nothing else.

Everybody is out again tonight. Anyone still think they are actually hurt? That Dallas game at the end of the year could be fun. We might be subject to Alec Peters taking pull up jumpers and running the offense.

At least he doesn't let it stop him from being aggressive.

Yup. I'd absolutely keep him for his defense. Reed/House/Ulis can all go fly a kite.

Amazing what little improved arc on Bender's shot will do.

What's going on with Warren? Haven't even seen him around at all lately.

I'd swear the Suns have a deal lined up with him involved on draft night and don't want him to get hurt before hand. ;)

Hopefully they have him wearing a helmet 24/7...

That would be a sight to see. TJ, it's only until late June, it will be ok.

Suns lose their 60th game for the first time since 1968-69.

The race for the worst record is now down to just Phoenix (20-60) and Memphis (21-58).

There is. His intensity is terrific and he makes things happen. This guy is a keeper.
