1 month till training camp. Most podcasts roast the suns for not doing enough about their pg situation this offseason. After sucking ass each season he has been in suns uniform, will a change of coach with some actually offensive structure actually help knight to have a bounce back year. Thoughts?

For me I think he will not be the same liability we saw in the past. Watson was a terrible coach who allowed knight to do whatever, which was jack up long 2s and basically take a massive dump on the court. Knight has talent but needed structure. One game he looked like KJ dicing to the hoop and passing off to teammates near the hoop. But the next game it was back to the same old garbage.
Enter coach K. Plus now booker is well and truely.
established as our star. I think these factors are more important than knight saying all the right things to the press ( because he did that before and still sucked). I would imagine he won’t be allowed to dominate the ball like before and may play more off ball with the ball in bookers hands more. If he is used as an initiator then there would be more of a focus of him attacking and finding teammates rather than the previous iso crap. So Though his overall ppg will be down, he won’t be such a liability to the team as in years past. Hopefully he holds the fort at Pg this year as a sevicable starter until we are to land an upgrade.

I wish they could add something to his contract that forbid him from holding the ball for more than 5 seconds. They could call it, oh, I don't know, a Knight Rider.

Predictions: He won't be the answer at PG, and we'll have to look for another PG during the season. He'll hog the ball too much and take bad shots and will try to prove he's "back" too much. He'll disrupt the flow of the offense. And his athleticism will be diminished by his injuries.

7/10. Solid.

I voted that he'll continue his previous struggles, but really I think he'll be a little better than he was last time he played. I don't think he'll be GOOD, but I think he'll be a manageable part of the team. Similar to Hardaway in '02-'03.

I voted for "Other". I think he'll start out the year as a serviceable starter (and good teammate), but that Okobo surprises everyone and goes from contributing back-up to above average starter by the trade deadline. Knight gets traded to a Eastern Conference team looking to solidify it's guard situation.

Its hard fro me to see him doing much besides what I have already seen him doing--continuing his previous struggles, but being a relatively good teammate.

Good comparison, just with lower Bball iq

I think he's going to surprise. I'm predicting 17 & 7 on 44% from the field and 38% from 3 while averaging 33mpg. If he stays healthy of course.

I have no idea. I hope he turns into an All Star. I don’t expect it. The vibe I got early was that the Suns are looking to next year to pick up “ the guy” at PG.

Highly unlikely Knight averages 7 dimes as I think that's hard to do for a whole season for most in Igor "player movement/ball movement" offense
That being said I think Knight will be fine, I'm gonna continue to stick with the fact that point guards have played well under Igor tutilage with Dragic, Rubio n George Hill singing his praises
Knight just being solid like Hill was in his stint there (49 games for Jazz - 17, 4dimes, 2 TO, 40% on 3pt) to me isn't far fetched. Hill played 31mins per game which I don't think Knight will but I'm fine with him avging 12-15pts, the fg% and turnovers are what's important
