Tankathon had us 5th until the Anderson trade dropped us to 4th. Can't wait to see what they predict now.

I don't understand though
That article doesn't explain anything because referencing him sitting out end of last season makes it seem like he hasn't been playing
Team USA and all those pick up games , so what happened....

Obviously not ideal, and I'm a bit worried by the lack of detail about the injury and procedure.

Just more evidence that this "playoff push" talk needs to stop. Develop the roster this year with a coach who (hopefully) knows what the hell he's doing.

Being realistic is important. This “this ‘this “playoff push” talk needs to stop’ talk needs to stop” talk needs to stop.

Haha, I'm a 'fan'. It's not short for realistic.

Ughhhhhhhhhh.

At least it isn't a leg or back issue.

Wonderful. Glad he's getting it taken care of but I wish it had been at the beginning of the offseason.

I imagine he thought the issue was resolved, but it has been lingering. Its funny, now would be the time that having a player like Knight would have been most valuable to the team.

Did the Las Vegas odds makers have some kind of insider knowledge when they came up with the over/under team wins number?

Was just thinking the same thing.. I cringed at thought of him playing PG.. But as a stop gap 2 he'd have been more servicable than JJ will be... But at best this opens up some mins for others at the 3-4

How long does it typically take an NBA player to come back from a hand surgery? Is he going to miss a large chunk of the season?

The report I heard said he may miss the start of training camp. I'm not concerned unless he hurt it in another elevator altercation.

The phrase "indefinitely" worries me. A broken bone takes 6-8 weeks to heal, and doctors don't need to use the phrase "indefinitely" because it is not a long time-frame. Training camp starts in less than 3 weeks, and the regular season starts in 5 weeks. Why is the timeframe on this ambiguous enough that they can't provide a timeframe?

Its especially concerning because I remember Warren having a mysterious head injury that put him out indefinitely--what seemed to be an injury that would keep him out a few games turned into an uncomfortably long stretch of games. I just don't trust management's timetables (when they are not given).
