Good f-ckin riddance. But typical of Sarver to do this preseason because that's always healthy for an organization.
And WTF is McHale going to do in a front office role? Why not bring in a veteran exec respected around the league who knows the CBA and has connections to make trades?

The Knicks did it a few years ago firing Grunwald and hiring Steve Mills. So at least we're in good company.

Seems really strange that McD would be allowed to build the team all summer and get fired now. Is it just because he hasn't gotten a PG? Sarver must not be very happy with how we've played preseason. Going to be real interesting what the new GM does. James Jones has had some influence with recent additions, so if it's him, we might not see too many changes.
Weird timing, but by no means am I upset. McD was fairly questionable in his time here. Don't know if I'm ready to make Jones the GM yet. Would like a more experienced hand. David Griffin comes to mind as an option.
