Another good test for Ayton if he plays. Jokic is pretty much the opposite of DAJ in terms of skillset so he may be guarding on the perimeter a bit more.

I really don't get it with the Nuggets. Everyone's so high on them and while I really like Malone, I still don't love their perimeter players like Murray, Harris and Barton. Millsap will be handful for us tho as we don't have a traditional 4. He may eat well tonight.

Stoked to see if our Game 1 performance was a fluke or the beginning of a trend. I'm trying, and failing, to temper my excitement about the Dallas beatdown. Our 21-win squad beat Dallas 3 times last season.

That said, we will lose this game by 22. Ayton forgets how to rebound, Booker enters a season-long shooting slump, Ariza ages 5 years in a day, Ryan Anderson passes away, Igor screams at JJ until his voice goes missing, and Robert Sarver remains owner of the Phoenix Suns.

Sounds like a DC comics battle.

I'm pretty sure one of those things is going to happen.

Looking forward to this one. Jokic may be a tough matchup for Ayton. He'll pull DA farther away from the basket than he likes to operate. Worried that the Joker will score 40 on us and mess with Ayton's confidence.

Will we see 75% 3-point shooting from both Josh Jackson and TJ Warren? Find out tonight!!

wasn't the whole thing at Arizona that Ayton played away from the basket more cause he was the more agile of the two centers ?
either way the Joker isn't really a go for 40 type player so I wouldn't worry about that 8-) . what happened last season is as a facilitator he had those guys killing us on back cuts, was fairly ridiculous iirc

Very good take. This will be a learning night for the Suns team defense.
