Well, LeBron is missing Cleveland and the East too. 0-3. Love it!
You can't see a huge drop off but LeBron has started his descent. Father Time is finally catching up to him.

I was firmly in camp Doncic, but even I can admit now that it's a coin flip.
We'd be looking at 20/10/5 nights from Ayton in Sacramento if we had taken Doncic, so what's the point?
We should be happy with ether one because we could never have both.

Highlights don't mean shit when it comes to winning or losing.
You never saw a lot of Tim Duncan highlights, but all he ever did is produce.
So far Donic may have the highlights, but Ayton has been much more productive (1st among the 2018 draft choices in WS with 4.0 while Donic is 30th at -0.1).

So far, Duncan really is the best goal for Ayton. He's not flashy or charismatic on the court, but if he does seem to have the BBall IQ to grow into thta kind of Dirt Working star.

Duncan had David Robinson to tutor him and play alongside.
Ayton has ... Tyson Chandler (ugh).

For those who enjoy software bugs: check out the Suns Position Estimates at bkref. There's a goose on the loose in that algorithm.

The Ayton-Holmes backcourt will take us far.
Ayton’s ast/36 of 4.8 is actually third on the team, behind Booker and Crawford.
And he has assisted on 22% of all FGs from other guys while he is on the floor. Only Booker is higher for guys that actually played (Crawford is up there too, but only in 19 minutes of play).

Ayton is legit. We have a big 2 to build on. It remains to be seen if anybody can beat Warren for the last spot in the Big 3.

I'm liking the early returns for Bridges making it into the group.

I think Zach Lavine could get some all-star buzz with Dunn being out for a while.

If TJ keeps his outstanding play up, we have our 3. Our support staff around them is absolutely terrible.
