A Michigan man shot dead by police after murdering his wife and badly injuring one of his daughters had reportedly been sucked into the QAnon conspiracy theory after refusing to accept that Donald Trump had lost the 2020 presidential election.
She wrote: “In 2020 after Trump lost, my dad started going down the Q rabbit hole. He kept reading conspiracy theories about the stolen election, Trump, vaccines, etc.
“Well, at around 4 AM on September 11, he had an argument with my mother and he decided to take our guns and shoot her, my dog and my sister. My mother succumbed to her wounds and my sister is in the hospital right now.
“My dad also fired back at the cops and they killed him.
“I’m shocked and I don’t even know what to say.
“Fuck you, Qanon. I hope the FBI tightens its grip on you and that your lackies rot in prison (and hell) for poisoning so many people.”
“Right-wing extremism is not funny, and people need to watch their relatives and if they have guns, they need to hide them or report them or something because this is out of control,” she said.

The Colorado shooter who killed 5 people at a gay bar, the local news found his dad and interviewed him. He seems ... not well? Seemed much more concerned with whether his own son might be gay than the idea that he might have murdered people.

With no suspects or motive announced, the FBI is joining the investigation into power outages in a North Carolina county believed to have been caused by “intentional” and “targeted” attacks on substations that left around 40,000 customers in the dark Saturday night, prompting a curfew and emergency declaration.
Fields said multiple rounds were fired at the two substations. “It was targeted, it wasn’t random,” he said.
The sheriff would not say whether the criminal activity was domestic terrorism but noted “no group has stepped up to acknowledge or accept they’re the ones who (did) it.”
In addition to the gunfire damage at the substations, a gate at one of the locations appears to have been taken off its hinges, Asst. Chief Mike Cameron of the Southern Pines Fire and Rescue Department told CNN.
While it’s unclear what motivated the alleged vandalism, the sheriff on Sunday addressed rumors circulating on social media that the attack was an attempt to thwart a local drag show.

1st grade teacher in Virginia, student shows up with a 9mm handgun. She defends the classroom, the student shoots her in the chest, she escorts all the other students out to safety. She's in the hospital now. Student got the gun from their mother at the home.
