Most valid poll we've had in a while.

I voted for 1 win.

While it's possible we may win more than one, past performance is the best predictor of future performance. We have won one, and have not proved we can win more than one.

I went wildly optimistic with 3. I never would have dreamed that we would be the worst team in the league going into this season. That first game did us all a disservice for our expectations as well.

I love how the start of the highest option (5 wins) is still a worse winning percentage (.250) than we had all of last season (.256) when we were the worst team in the NBA. This is pretty bad, isn't it?

You're expecting a 19 game losing streak?

I said 5 or more. We're 1-6 now. 13 games to go, we just have to go 4-9. That's still a bad record. Not sure what our schedule is, But I'm sure we'll get some easier games.

Edit: just checked and realized we have a very tough schedule. Next 13 games include 9 very likely playoff teams, 2 teams currently in playoff position(Detroit and Memphis), and 2 likely lotto teams(Brooklyn and Chicago). I'm gonna change my guess to 4.

On the more positive side, we've lost to 4 of the top 5 teams in the west, plus two teams (Lakers and OKC) who are supposed to be good. Plus, we've been without our best player for half of the losses.

Yeah, there's no question our schedule starts off very tough. Most of our wins will come later in the year.

To be honest, I missed the part of the question about Q1. I meant 1 win for the whole Frank Johnsoned season.

I honestly thought that Frank Jonson got the *** treatment.

Looking at the schedule, our 20th game is at home against the Pacers on 11/27.

Assuming Booker misses only one more game, I think we have a reasonable chance at winning 4 out of the next 13 games.

11/4 vs. Memphis - This is the first of a back-to-back for the Grizzlies, with them playing in Oakland the next day. They could be overlooking (relatively speaking) the Suns.

11/6 vs. Brooklyn - Brooklyn isn't terrible, but it should be a pretty even match up with the Suns. I think this is much more likely to be a win than the Memphis game because we'll be 1-8 if we lose to Memphis and I'm 99% sure Booker will be back for this game.

11/12 @ OKC or 11/17 vs. OKC - Seems like a really long shot at first glance, but OKC has been unimpressive so far and I think we could get one of these against them. I could see them resting Westbrook for one of these games as well.

11/21 @ Chicago - The Bulls are just as bad as the Suns. Anything could happen in this game, including a Suns win.

I don't think we'll win 4 of these games, but they're our best chances at getting wins.

My prediction is 4-16 after the first 20 games.

It kinda depends on whether Booker comes back. I voted "5 or more" based on the assumption that he will return sometime soon and will help lead us to wins. I wouldn't be surprised to see us go on some kind of mini win streak of 3-4 games sometime in there, even beating some team we have no business beating. Young teams can be chaotic like that. I don't care much how many wins we get, so long as they are working on their issues and learning and growing as a team and so on.

Yeah, I originally made a poll that was like this:

1-3
4-6
7-9
+9 (a nearly .500 team!)

I then looked at our scheduled games and thought 4 was really optimistic...

She's 8 1/2 months already. Crazy how fast it flies by. And she is always as happy as in that photo; it's contagious. Did I mention that the Suns are going to win 65 games this year?!

for a college professor, it is weird you misspelled 'lose' so badly.

Damn , I was reading this thread like
"what are you guys talking about ....."
"these win totals are ridiculous !"

I peeped the schedule and realized that everyone is being quite objective and man oh man is this depressing. then Mori with the lil angel pic to add some much perspective :) that we really shouldn't have the Suns making us feel like it's the end of the world smh lol

I thought you were gonna say we need the next generation of Suns fans to carry the torch because our generation may not ever see the light.
