Sorry for the late post, one of my kids is home sick. We finally got our second win last week. We have a game every other day through Wednesday of next week.
Last Week's Games
vs. San AntonioLOSS 120-90
vs. Toronto LOSS 107-98
vs. Memphis WIN 102-100!
This Week's Games
Tuesday, November 6th vs. Brooklyn 9:00PM EST
Thursday, November 8th vs. Boston 9:00PM EST
Saturday, November 10th @ New Orleans 7:00PM EST
EDIT 2: Now the question becomes, is this a habit of Sarver's? Has he been doing this since 2004, and it just never slipped out before? Seems extremely cowardly (among other things).

Brave thing to fire him at the start of season cowardly over phone.

Shows that our communication issues are a top down issue starting at the very top. From that same article, here are some of the repercussions. Sounds familiar:
For morale's sake, it's important to remember that not only your dismissed employee, but your other employees have long memories. Additionally, during this time of social media dominance, you should assume that any dismissal will not remain a private matter.
You will have created a scenario in which your remaining employees are afraid to trust you. Or worse, they trust that you may harm them, too.

Cool Booker stat:
The 22 year old Booker’s make with 1.7 seconds left was his 4th make in his last 5 tries with a chance to tie or take the lead with 3 or fewer seconds left on the game clock since joining the league.
Very considerate to Sarver. Regretted feuds with players leaving the city.
Video blocked.

I'd like to see Mikal try and pattern his game after Klay Thompson. They have a lot of similarities.

McD is very careful here not to burn any bridges or scare off potential employers. He seems like a guy who is going to interview very well in front of another owner in another city. I guess this broadcast could be considered a first round interview of sorts. Good luck to him.
That is the least awkward I have ever seen McD. He still did not answer the point guard question. McD is getting paid to do nothing right now. He is relaxed and kinda loving life for a moment.

I think we are going to regret firing McDo. He drafted and acquired a lot of good young pieces that will be part of this team's core going forward. Booker, Ayton, Bridges, Warren, Jackson, etc.... McDo is the architect of this core. I think if we get a veteran PG who can run the offense, and if these guys continue to grow and learn together (especially on defense), this can be a good team. And he built it. I have no faith in James Jones (with Saver hovering over him like a soccer mom) doing as well.

I think it ultimately doesn't matter as long as Sarver does Sarver things.

Booker and Ayton were the consensus picks. He lucked into those players just by virtue of having the draft picks. It’s way too early to say whether Bridges is worth what we traded for him, and it’s starting to look like Jackson was not the right pick.
