Time: 5:00 pm AZ (4:00 pm PT / 7:00 pm ET)
Place: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA
TV: FSAZ/NBALP

The Pelicans are 1-5 without Payton and are hoping to have him back Saturday evening against the Suns. It will be interesting to see how the Suns bounce back after their demoralizing loss on Thursday.

Go Suns!!!

Is anyone against giving Bender some of Anderson’s minutes?
Anderson hasn’t had a good game yet - hasn’t shot well and is near useless on D.

I'd love to see Bender get 100% of those minutes. He can't be worse than Ryno has been, and he would at least defend better.

Yes Payton has played well and his presence seems to be missed. In even potentially bigger news, Mirotic is also listed as questionable and he continues to be outstanding for them

You don't rush your starters back form injury to play the Suns.

Thing with Randle starting for Mirotic is that he for sure gonna play bully ball against our small 4s
Already an offensive reb sigh

Pels court and uniform combo makes for terrible television. What a washed out mess.

2 quick fouls for TJ
Next up is Josh to try guard Randle which isn't ideal either but let's see how it goes

Ayton with only 1 post up touch in first 5mins which he traveled

That was a really disappointing series by Ayton. Has the ball deep, within 5-6 feet of the hoop and kicks it out. Then lightly swipes at the ball on defense as Holiday drives right by. Shows no interested in protecting the rim against the 6'2 PG.

He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body.

I wonder if Ayton is secretly 45yrs old and doesn't wanna hurt himself playing too hard.
