I feel like the Suns never play well against the Knicks. Hopefully we can catch them off guard a bit. Mudiay is playing well of late, Hardaway can score but will give it right back on the defensive end. Kanter's a load in the paint so Ayton will have his work cut out defending him and MUST box him out otherwise he could have 20 rebounds on us. Kanter can't play D either tho so we should attack the rim and make him try and help as much as possible. Frank's their best perimeter defender but only in spurts and isn't an aggressive scorer. I wonder if they'll try him on Booker for a while.

The Knicks are 29th in the league in Defensive Efficiency, so they're a very beatable opponent. But so are we. If our guys play with the same intensity we saw last week, we have a good shot of taking the W.
Prediction: Booker drops 40.

Man, I'm getting more and more nervous about them messing up our chemistry. Especially Austin even though I'm the one on record saying give him a chance.

I’m hoping Rivers was just a salary and not someone we targeted. If he plays good I’ll take it, but I hope we’re not counting on it. I’m not worried about Oubre, he’s a good player and we can use him or we can move him for a more long term piece.

They just won a couple of games with his starting there, why would they change?

You know the part in The Dark Knight where the Joker does the pencil trick? At the end he goes "Ta da! It's... it's gone!" Well just envision me saying, "Ta da! It's.... the Suns!"

Can never go wrong with a Dark Knight reference

If they win tonight, you'd hope that that would give us enough momentum to solidify Melton in the starting role. Let's go get it boys!

Knickerbocker
"descendant of Dutch settlers of New York," 1831, from Diedrich Knickerbocker, the name under which Washington Irving published his popular "History of New York" (1809). The pen-name was borrowed from Irving's friend Herman Knickerbocker, and literally means "toy marble-baker," from German knicker, schoolboy slang for "marble," apparently an agent-noun from the imitative verb knikken "to snap."
Toy marble baker?

Ayton looking extremely active early. Throws down the super impressive 1-handed oop!!

Ayton in foul trouble early. Kanter getting all the calls.

I hate how the officials give Ayton no respect. They take him out of the game when he's making a big impact.

Ayton outscored Kanter 8 to 0. Too bad he couldn't figure out how to box him out and not get a foul called.
