Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The Portland Trailblazers come to town tonight. This is a team that has given us fits the last couple years. Booker on his and his team's frustrations with officiating:
"I think we're looking for respect that we have to earn still," Booker said.

"We realize that. We're at the bottom of the West. ... We can complain about calls every game, but nobody respects us, and we should know that by now. If you're not one of those top teams, you're going to have to work for it."
Go Suns!!!

How does Warren keep having a "sore ankle"? If it's not sprained or broken, then what is the injury?

Something to keep an eye on - Josh is shooting 35% from three over the last 15 games and has quietly increased his season average to 30.8%, up from 26.3% last year. He is still a bad shooter from deep, but it would be an encouraging sign if he maintained his current season average. An increase of 4.5% is nothing scoff at. I think we can all see the progress in his form and it is good to see the numbers reflecting that somewhat.

His weakest zone is the 3-10 feet. He shoots 36% from that zone. He’s 55% at the rim, 41% from 10-16 and 38% from 15-23. Plus you already mentioned 31% from 3. His shot has made some decent strides this year. Hopefully he continues to improve.

Those numbers make a lot of sense. That 3-10-foot range is where he tends to throw up awkward line drive shots and vomitous floaters. Cleaning those shots up will go a long ways towards improving his efficiency.

It's crazy to think 4 percentage points is such a big deal but it is. I'm reminded of that scene in Bull Durham where he talks about the difference between hitting .250 and .300.

You want me to hold him while you let loose a couple body blows, Marty?

JJ Starting for Warren. I think it should be Oubre.

Also, Nurkic is probably a tougher matchup for Bender than KAT. Let's see how this goes.

It would be great if he could keep improving his three-point shot. Here are the 3P% numbers for the first three seasons for a certain all-time great Suns SF:

.182
.256
.393

So Jackon's numbers are already ahead of Marion's. People shouldn't be giving up on him so soon.

Young players take time. We see that time and time again in the NBA, yet we forget it so quickly. I think the improvement in Jackson's shooting in encouraging in a broader way than just seeing his 3-point % rise. I think it shows that he is a working who is willing to put in the time to improve.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Suns go after Layman in this off-season.

We’re stuck in a long stretch of not knowing what to do on offense. Crawford is getting a ton of playing time.
