The Rockets are coming off a loss to the Warriors after a 9 game winning streak. You can pencil in a loss here. Let's just hope we look better than we did against the Jazz.
Go Suns!!!

I am not that tied up in if we win or lose, but I want to see Ayton do something about his last game.

I saw on Twitter that Chris Paul will likely sit out the game to rest. That means almost-Sun Austin Rivers may start in his place.

Let's forget that we wasted additional cap space on him, but has anyone else been pretty satisfied with Tyler Johnson's play at PG for us? I will have to admit I am a few games behind due to 10 days in Costa Rica, but from my cursory review and some box scores, he seems to be doing fine.

Yes, he's been a steadying influence with a low turnover rate. He was a good pick up.

Somebody said the Suns made a good pick? Mark this date down in the history books.

Ha! i didn't say he was worth what we paid, but I originally thought it would be a bad pick up since he has never really played PG full-time. I have been surprised at his A/TO ratio and even his defense and rebounding.

He's solid, solid, solid. I said it when we made the trade - if he could stick with the Heat and get minutes, he can play for us. The Heat are demanding of their players and old guys to play a certain way. Jones was probably savvy to that and knew the type of player he was getting from Miami. He's a prototype combo which I think Igor actually prefers for the offense. Not a world killer but a steady hand, takes some pressure off Book handling the ball and plays solid D.

Yes, agreed. Not flashy but solid and better as the primary ballhandler/PG than Point-Book. I went so far as to say that despite my deep misgivings about James Jones as GM, his list of transactions so far is pretty good: trading for Oubre, trading for Johnson, signing J Crawford.

Looking good and were up early, now 13-8. PointBooker tonight with Johnson out. Daniels is starting with Oubre, Bender and Ayton. Ayton's active and put a move on Capela for a turnaround. He's blocked Harden, deflected a few passes, posted up smaller players. We're sharp but the Rockers are just getting going.

I have lost count of the number of times Mikal has just stripped someone who is jabbing or in triple threat position
It's like they don't realize how long his hands are

I'm actually watching this game for once. Oubre is having himself a game. I'm also liking the minutes Bender is giving us. Man do I f--king hate Harden and everything about the way he plays.

Ayton looks really lost out there right now. Harden has just toyed with him on several possessions.

Why has Melton dropped completely out of the rotation? Even with Tyler Johnson out

Love the battle between Holmes and Faried tonight. WE NEED TO KEEP HOLMES!
