The Boston Celtics (13-13) wrap up their Western Conference road trip Friday when they face the Phoenix Suns (20-4)

The Celtics are 1-3 in the first four games of their road trip but had gone 9-5 in the 14 games before setting out. They were swept by both L.A. teams Tuesday and Wednesday before heading to Phoenix.

I saw someone comment on Twitter last week that he's doesn't think it's a coincidence that cases are up in the NFL n NBA after Thanksgiving.

I was gonna say that I watched some of Lakers v Celtics and Rob Williams was very active and it will be interesting to see that matchup.

Horford at the 4 I think so their size might be an issue but I believe Grant Williams is like their small ball 5 unless I forgetting someone. If that's the case we should be "Ok" plus Jaylen Brown is still Out and we're at Home so let's handle biz

Wainwright might be a good matchup for the bigger guys Grant and Horford.

Kanter's size and rebounding could hurt us if they use him. Wonder if Stix can give us some minutes.

We need to gang rebound for sure, and with no Booker or Ayton we need CP3 and Bridges to be more aggressive shooting the ball.

We can't seem to stop Tatum so far and the offense is a little out of whack. Crowder with some early offense off the dribble again which is good to see.

McGee is out at 6 minutes so Stix getting some minutes.

All things considered not a bad quarter. Just a short stint for Stix but as I've said from minute one with him just get on the glass, try to finish chances around the rim and if he hits some spot up 3s that would be perfect. He did alright battling against Horford.
Obviously this might have to be more a defensive effort and Tatum quick start is a lil concerning but let's see how it plays out.

Oh and I don't want us letting Schroeder have a good game

Subtle thing but after CP3 goes out at the midway point of the 1st, Monty would bring him back to start the 2nd quarter but tonight he sat the first 4mins of the 2nd quarter. It's been a while since CP3 sat that long iirc and we were able to maintain the lead may it be all of two points

For me he honestly isn't doing anything different. Rebounding was always what he seemed to be solid at but he would look out of his depth sometimes on offense. His minutes never used to be with CP3 which obviously helps tonight and might be the difference in him getting a couple easy buckets. He probably played like 12mins already which is another thing
