LaVine's status is questionable for tonight but DeRozan's certainly is not. He's having probably the best season of his career. Vucevic is also playing really well. This will be a tough out.

Big three game stretch starting tonight. I'm very excited to see how we fare against the best teams in the East. I'm sure the fellas will be locked in and I'm sure the Bulls (and Sixers and Bucks) will be locked in too. Hopefully Lavine plays.
Ayo Dosunmu is a rook who's broken out a bit and DeRozan should keep Mikal busy. Gotta make DD work on defense too. Vuc will be a load but we have the bodies to matchup.

Deandre Ayton notched his 13th-career 20+ points/15+ rebounds game Saturday against the Wizards and the second time this season
Amare had a total of 29 of these games while a Sun in 516 games.
Ayton has played 209 for us. (I was surprised to see how many games Amare had with 15+ rebounds).
On the scoring side, it isn't nearly as close. Ayton has 2 games of 30+ points in his career 209 games. Amare had 86 in his 516 games with the Suns (that is once every 6 games--which is a lot closer to Book's once every 3.5 games than I remembered).

Amare was such a gosh darn beast. (On offense.) Miss that dude.

Both teams chirping at the officials early.

Definitely a missed foul on the Crowder shot, not sure the ref he got mad at had the best view though. Probably just didn’t see the hand on the hip of Crowder pushing him. Probably another ref that should have called it.

I have no clue what they called on Cam when he was defending Derozan…then Book takes a forearm to the face with no call…

Booker is on fire to start. Looks like he’s motivated to shut up all the “Levine is better than Booker” idiots on Twitter.
Fouls have been extremely lopsided. Bulls mauling the Suns but ticky tacks being called on the other end

The second unit needs to find its rhythm. Payne clearly has better chemistry with McGee than the other guards, even Booker. Nobody is attacking the basket like Payne does and creating opportunities for McGee.

Yea these refs suck tonight. Gotta play thru it and not get caught up. Jae said a bad word and got T'd up already.
Book cooking early again. 2-2 from three, maybe the last one at the end of the quarter was a 2?
DeRozan has it going, he's just a tough cover. Thought we were handling Lavine well. Can't let White be their 3rd scorer, he's a homerun kind of guy who can go off.

I don’t know if a Payton/Stix/McGee lineup is the answer

That defensive three second call could be made on every possession.

Payton had a nice pass to Mikal cutting down the lane on the break. I wonder why we went back to Smith after going with Ish a few games back. I don't think it's a matchup thing.

Gotta showcase him before the deadline

Is it a full moon or something? Elfrid Payton has made several good plays so far.
