Game Day: Pelicans (23-36) @ Suns (49-10), Friday 2/25/2022

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBALP

We welcome Willie G back to town again and he brings along a new weapon and familiar foe in CJ McCollum who has three 30pt games in his last four games. It hasn't translated to wins though and either way the Pelicans have much more firepower than OKC and although we did a good job in the passing lanes last night, SGA did just drop 30 on us. This also not going to be a small ball night with Valanciunas and Jaxson Hayes who actually starting together recently so that will be an interesting challenge for us but yea big boy pants for DA tonight for sure.

Go Suns !!!

I can't recall the exact play but I remember seeing Holiday limp around for a few minutes in the last game, so news of his injury isn't that surprising to me.

I didn't see Holiday limping but I do remember Mikal going down and hobbling a bit after maybe stepping on someone's ankle. Glad he's at least alright.

Believe it was trying to make a defensive play on an OKC fast break, might have been following a turnover too unfortunately

Had his rough patches last night but did hit 2 important 3s when lead was single digits. I think his misses being way off doesn't help, I listened to Thunder broadcast but EJ been talking about his shot being flat all season.

Either way, this a crazy take lol but 5 for sure though. Believe .net fam :) 8-)

Calling my shot: Laundry Shamet will NOT hit 8 3s tonight.

Seems a bit more likely.

As much as I defend Shamet, it’s gonna take a little more than one offensive explosion for him to have any trust in him. Let’s say he puts together a 3 game heater of 3+ threes a game.

Lots of smart folks really like Herb Jones defensive attributes
Think he was doing a solid job on Book but got some fouls last time iirc so will be watching that

Once Aaron and Payne are back I'd be cool with straight up cutting Elfrid. Dude fucking sucks.

Seems like Craig is going to miss considerable time with the way that injury looked. When it rains, it pours.

Shamet and Johnson doing a decent job running the offense.
