Time: 5:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: BSAZ/NBALP

Finally, another Suns game. We travel to chilly Minneapolis to take on the hot Timberwolves. They have won 10 of their last 12 while the Suns are going for their 6th win in a row. I believe Cam Johnson is still out for this one.

No Johnson or Paul, but everyone else is good to go…well not Dario or Frank, but Jae and Payne are not on the injury report.

Timberwolves been playing some decent stuff and feeling themselves a bit recently tbh
Not sure if the whole team is embracing the short joker energy but it wasn't only he Lakers game that I've seen them being very animated in highlights

Either way, hope Book has his high tolerance hat on and this one can just be over

I'm glad CP3 is not playing today with bat shit crazy Pat Bev playing his usual UFC style of basketball.

Payne will be important as I’m sure Bev will take Booker…I’d stay out of that fight…no point in getting hurt. Let Payne run the show.

Honestly might be why we’re choosing to play him tomorrow instead of tonight(if we are in fact playing him tomorrow) Bev would 100% “accidently” hit Paul on his thumb

Too bad the NBA got rid of the enforcer type player, but hasn't stopped the need for another to put down. I miss having a Kurt Thomas type player on the team. If Bev had played in an earlier era and tried the same crap on Stockton, Malone would have made sure Bev would be out for the rest of the season.

If it was KT standing next to Beverly when he pulled that coward shit cheap shot on CP instead of Frank Kaminsky, that whole thing would have played out differently - and may not have gone down at all.

I still wish Frank had clocked Beverly, or at least done more than say “hey man, not cool” or whatever.

I would like to imagine this being possible but Book just ain't wired like that, regardless if he's picking him up full court or just regular half court D
There will be yapping from "both of them" tbh
If Book just ignores him all game, laughing it off or whatever I would be pleasantly surprised

Remember he didn't play last game and was chirping from the bench and the two of them were at it

I mean, look at Frank here (55 second mark):

I’ve given people harder shoves by text.

I’m not sure why he didn’t step in front of Beverley at the very least. Beverley turns around and starts coming towards Paul…there’s nothing good he can be up to. Just take one step to your right and the shove never happens

It looked to me like Beverly was just going to say something up to the last 0.5 seconds before he lunges. I am not sure Frank should have or could have stepped in front in time. But he absolutely should have done something to Beverly after he pushed him like that. He was honestly the only one close enough that wasn't a major player to be able to do something. And he should have.

Maybe not, but the referee reacted quickly, just was too far away

Frank didn't seem to be all that aware of his surroundings here. If he was, he would have stepped in, because it didn't take clairvoyance to see that Beverly was headed the wrong way with some evil intentions.

It does please me that these were PBs final minutes with the Clippers. He can consider himself owned.

I'm expecting the intensity to be pretty high in this game. The Wolves have been feeling themselves for a couple of weeks now, highlighted by their mouthing off against the Lakers recently. The Suns have won the two games against the Wolves so far, but both were close throughout and the Wolves were missing a few guys in the most recent matchup in January.

The Wolves newly found confidence and desire to not get swept in the season series should have them really focused on this game. They can also frame it as a real litmus for them to test their playoff readiness.

It's really getting ridiculous the lack of respect Book gets from the refs.

The Wolves are really embracing the dark arts of basketball now. Anyone else see Naz Reid flop while trying to set a moving screen on the Wolves last possession of the first quarter? That was some extra bullshit.

First possession of the second quarter and Naz Reid flops in the post to draw an offensive foul. I didn't know he was such a softy.

Wolves are playing extremely well right now. Only way to beat the Suns is to shoot abnormally well from 3 and they are doing it so far.

Bigger news is that we are finally getting the Landry that we were promised.
