Of course I want Chris Paul to return to his pre-injury form as soon as possible, but I already feel bad for Shamet. He's had a really good stretch the past two weeks and his minutes will be the most affected by Paul's return. He's always been streaky, so I hope he doesn't lose the rhythm he's in now.

I think he’ll still get a majority of the Cam Johnson minutes…Holiday will be the one to lose all his minutes.

Interesting on Shamet
Even with our great run last year, our lack of reliable options at Guard made the two PG lineup with CP3 and Payne a fixture to start the quarter when Book sits.
I've said that I wish we would go big sometimes with Mikal at the 2 but I wonder if with Shamet improve play we keep him and Payne together. With that rotation of CP3 coming in for Book, sometimes he would almost play the full quarter.
For sure in the 2nd half, when Book sits to start the 4th and CP3 comes in I can remember a few games where he stayed in for the rest of the game.

Hopefully Chris Haynes gets to interview Devin Booker during the game and asks him about double teams.

This woman on the Nuggets broadcast is a whiner or she doesn't know the rules of the game. Maybe both.

That the nuggets play-by-play guy is doing that kid wrong lol. Let him do play-by-play for a small sequence, sure, but letting him go on for several minutes smh.

I didn't realize it was a
Make a Wish thing until the end when the play-by-play guy mentioned it.
Still doesn't explain the woman analyst being terrible.

Book's doing the heavy lifting on offense with 24pts on 8-11 and he's gotten to the line 8 times. DA with 10 and 4 on 5-9, Crowder with 3 straight threes, CP's played 13 minutes and looked pretty good so we'll see how Monty uses him in the 2nd half. Everyone else doing their part, Mikal and Landry a little quiet.
The team stats are identical in FG%, 3pt% and FTs. Bones went nuts for a stretch, otherwise their scoring's been spread out. They're knocking down shots and pushing it in transition. Interested to see how we look in the 2nd half on a B2B in Denver.
