Kings are locked into 12th place in the West and don't have much to play for. But neither do we. I really hope Coach Monty rests our starters, particularly CP3. You know he'll play Mikal a bit to keep the streak going, but then sit his ass. Can you imagine how stupid it would be if Bridges got hurt playing minutes in this meaningless game just to keep a dumb streak alive?

I don’t have a problem playing the first half with the starters to stay sharp. I also don’t mind resting everyone or just treating it like a normal game. I don’t buy into the notion that playing games increases the risk of injury much. I can guarantee our guys will be scrimmaging this week in practice and could just as easily get hurt there.

Yup. We've got a week off after this game. Rest right now isn't super important but just keep it simple and if the starters do play, keep it on the less minute side and play our deep bench. Just treat it like a scrimmage where all get a chance to play and stay sharp.

The Kings will mentally have more to play for since this game is as close to a Championship as they are going to get this year. Then again the Suns are at home in front of their fans in the last regular season game playing for one more win added to their record breaking number they already have.

I am in the don’t change the routine much for the final game group. Play the starters less maybe. Bridges wanting to keep his streaks alive maybe dumb to some but, it seems important to him. If they are that paranoid about playing the starters that they hold them out, they could still have him play just a couple of minutes to keep the streak alive.

Looks like no Paul, Booker, Crowder, or Ayton. I’d guess Bridges plays the first rotation and doesn’t come back in. Ish got a contract today, so let’s see him get some big minutes. I’d obviously love to win as 65 wins just sounds cooler than 64 to me, but it really doesn’t matter.

Regarding the Paul "right thumb injury management", is this something to be concerned about? Is this new? Or is this just continued recovery since surgery? Or was that his left hand?

That’s what they called it when he sat out against the Clippers too, he’s fine

It’s an excuse for him to sit instead of just saying rest.

Is it just me or do I hear Cartman in the background behind EJ and KRay?

Refs really mailing it in. All kinds of contact and they just seem disinterested. Also obvious kicked ball that they had no interest in calling.
