Set the tone early, especially defensively, and we should be fine in this one. Lillard is going to get his but make him work hard for it so he doesn’t have much in the tank down the stretch.
Go Suns!

Will Bridges guard Lillard? We have to try to slow him down. Outside of him they don't have much I'm afraid of. I like Simons and I like their Payton II signing, but those guys won't beat us. Jerami Grant seems like an empty stats guy on this team. Who else do they even have? Justise Winslow? Nurkic? Josh Hart? This is not a playoff team.

I like most of those guys lol. Lots of solid role players and Lillard. They'll push for a play in spot, and if Sharpe is as good I expect he will end up being, I like them.

There are no empty stat guys playing alongside a healthy Lillard. We said shit like that about Wood and he nearly kicked our ass.

I like Grant if he’s not pining for the second option role. Like Hart very much. Not that big on Nurk anymore. Used to think he was very nimble, but he’s clearly a bit of a poor fit for the modern game. Little seems interesting.

Wow beautiful basketball on both ends to start. The offense is really flowing and it's mostly been DA, Mikal and Cam making the plays. DA with a couple baseline jumpers and a 3 from the top of the key. Mikal posting up Dame and scoring then getting out on the break and Cam with a few jumpers.
Defensively we're just flying around and really making everything difficult for them. Everyone's been in sync so far.

Full bench unit in to close the 1st with Payne, Okogie, Lee, Craig and Landale. Landale picked up 2 quick fouls but has played thru them. Offense has gotten bogged down again, Payne looks like he's got some juice tonight tho.

Paul looks cooked, we really have 1 dude who can reliably get his own shot now. Yikes.

Ayton showed great body control side stepping Simons on that last layup.

He's still got burst, just no lift. He's not even looking for his own shot because he can't get off the ground. But he still looks good getting up and down the floor and running the offense, getting steals and charges.

Ayton has been amazing so far. Those 2 fouls were such bullshit. If he was able to stay on we might be up 20.

I like the Suns without CP3, Ayton playing a bigger role.

Plus he has 5 steals in the first half.
