Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBATV, SPECSN
The Suns have had the Lakers number as of late. They won earlier this season and won all four last season. In fact, I think the last time the Lakers beat the Suns, LeBron James was dancing salsa in the playoffs. Both Booker (groin soreness) and Ayton are questionable and AD is out for at least a month after grazing his foot on Jokic. In addition to Payne and Washington Jr., Landale is also out due to concussion protocol.

Booker’s groin injury could be related to the hamstring—perhaps he came back too soon/played too many minutes.
I’m also worried DA will return too soon again, with Landale out.

Suns employ the "next man up" mentality while Beverly does "next man down" as in who is the most valuable player I can injure today.
