Both of these teams are dealing with consistency issues. Both have had decent winning streaks followed by losing streaks. At least the Knicks won their last game of 2022 against the Rockets. The Suns may be getting a little help back with the return of Shamet and Payne. No, it’s not a lawyer firm even though it may sound like one.

RJ Barrett is out, Jalen Brunson is questionable. Knicks are very up and down, their defense hasn't been great and they're a lot better with Brunson running point. Quickley has been starting and can score but isn't always efficient. DRose and Fournier were out of the rotation but have been getting minutes due to injuries. Gotta keep MitchRob off the offensive boards and Sims out of the lane. Might need some Biz minutes for their frontcourt.

What will be interesting tho is Washington Jr in my opinion seemed to impact the last set of games but his minutes seemed low a couple times
With those two back now, wonder if he's back to a DNP cause to me that would be harsh

I put a lot of value as it relates to confidence/usage when saying if a guy is trash or not . He drives many crazy on here but most of the time I think he's simply overthinking/hesitating which leads to untimely turnovers. Especially the ones when he should have just let it fly but then chooses to drive and gets into trouble are for sure frustrating

In those first five games this month - he shot well but just scored 12, 5, 10, 13 and 6
Then look at the last three which includes the two 30pt games. He didn't have any out of body experience imo, or go crazy hot. It's just that he attempted 16, 10 then 17. That made me laugh tbh cause that seems a little ridiculous to have Forty-Three 3pt attempts in 3 games but just goes to show he's letting it fly

So that's just my take, if he had two games where he went like 7/10 from 3 for his 30pts I would be more skeptical as that's not sustainable. Just looks like a guy who's confidence/usage is up so we'll see how it plays out

Ya he seems to play better with extended minutes. Wouldn’t mind him showcasing himself for a trade or just getting confidence to fill our bench role when Booker comes back.

I know people (even my friends down here) complain when Knicks are on TV every Xmas smh lol but I like to see/hear games at MSG
