Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, ESPN
Another team the Suns owe but probably aren’t equipped to handle. The Suns led the entire 2nd half until the closing seconds in Miami.

Suns are currently 8th in the West after having previously been #1. We will be 9th in the West if we lose tonight.

Suns looking spry so far. Ayton has 4 points on two nice ft-line hooks. Craig already has 6.

Bridges super active…just need to get him to start making shots again

Did Ayton get a shot on 7 possessions in a row? Pretty sure he went 1-7.

If Bridges had a little better touch around the basket at his layups and short jumpers and such, he'd be a real offensive weapon. As it is, I'm kind of surprised when one of his maneuvers leads to a made basket. I still want him to keep at it, because improving his ballhandling and shot creation would be really helpful for us.

Ayton takes one of his patented 1st-quarter 3s from the top of the key. Bricks out, as expected. I really wish he wouldn't take these.

They are getting it to him though. Jeremy should be happy. He’s not getting a great whistle…seems like tbeh could’ve called a foul on 1-2 of his misses

I don’t mind him taking it generally, but this one was rushed and it was early in the clock. I don’t love that

Oladipo makes a 3 at the buzzer to put the Heat up 30-23, end of 1st quarter. Suns are mostly playing well I'd say, we just aren't a very good team without Booker. Bridges 0-4 so far.

Only down 5…not bad for how poorly we’re shooting. Did CP3 get hurt? He didn’t play much.

I think Monty's maybe pulling back on his minutes to play him more in the 2nd half. Can't have him logging 40minutes again plus the other guys were keeping it close.
I like the energy and bounce. Looks like we've got our legs back now. The offense is still pretty rough but only because we don't have any reliable scoring. DWJ gave us some offense, TC is giving us some 3s and hustle points and everyone's generally scrapping. Thought we were forcing things to DA early and he was forcing some offense, rushing things a bit. Mikal with a nice statline of 6-3-4 and 2 steals and is getting to the line but is 0-5 from the field. He's also taken about 2-3 hard falls so no doubt he's banged up.
Butler with 14 but that's to be expected. Just can't let guys like Strus and Vincent get hot from 3.

CP3 appears to be out…if he’s hurt what’s our plan?

Jeremy went Mission:Impossible and impersonated Monty.
