The Spurs roster is so bad. I get that they're quietly tanking, but you can still get essentially the same odds at the #1 pick even if you're less bad than this. They have just an atrocious roster up and down. I feel bad for their fans. It's going to be several years before they are relevant again. I hope they can find a way to do some trades to stockpile a hundred 1st round picks like what OKC has done.

Why do you feel bad for them? They literally were in the playoffs like 30 years in a row and won 5 titles in 15 years. They can handle some rough years.
Edit: 29 out of 30 years and the one year they missed the playoffs they won the lottery and drafted Tim Duncan. Those fans can’t complain until they’ve been in the lottery a decade imo.

Give me a break, Marty! COME ON! First the Warriors and now the Spurs of all teams?!
And nothing quiet about their tanking. They traded away all their best players. I mean, Jock Landale?! (Or LAWNdale if you're Stan Van Gundy) And there was another guy that was pretty good who I think is on Atlanta now.

LOL, sorry for stirring up such a reaction. I actually quite like the current Spurs org. I always liked Popovich, and basically other than a few guys like Manu, Bowen, and Horry, I always liked their best teams. I was openly cheering for them to take down Lebron and the Heatles in those Finals matchups. And I was happy to see Pop become the all-time winningest coach.
I know a lot of folks here will always hate the Spurs. I feel that way about the Lakers, but not about San Antonio. I'm not a Spurs fan, but I just don't like seeing teams be bad. I want to see teams like the Pistons, Hornets, Magic, Spurs, Rockets turn things around. Kings and OKC have already started to do that.

Hard to say the Hornets and Rockets are turning things around. Pistons too. Those teams are real bad as well. They literally have worse records

Man our play has been decent
Don't think the 4 game win streak was flukey, just a matter of getting bodies back
Feel comfortable saying that we not gonna drop the ball tonight

I'm sure we'll have at least one turnover.

The airballed hook shot from Ayton was impressive as well.

Solid first half, we should be up more than 7. Pretty methodical on our end, probably playing down to the Spurs tbh. Playing a lot thru DA again who's hitting more shots than Thursday night and rebounding just as well. CP's getting his offense, Mikal started the game off handling the ball but not much since. DLee with some good moments but also some bad TOs and the missed layup. Okogie still a little rough on offense, seems to be hesitating and thinking too much. Dario good minutes again despite being 0-5, was back playing the 4 next to Biz and DA. Gotta get Cam some shots, let him and Mikal work more on the ball.

Spurs should just give to Poeltl every time. Ayton ain’t doing shit defensively.
