Heh. Here is our stretch forward. Nice fit. He's been on the radar for years. One of those specialized guys who seem unable to stay on a team, like Morrow, Barnes, etc. Didn't think he could command 3M, two years.

I am indifferent.

Interesting. I've always thought he could be a good Frye replacement at a fraction of the cost.
I'd still like a big that focuses on D. Ed Davis would have been my preference. Perhaps they're not mutually exclusive.

Interesting. He'll definitely have a role here, but isn't exactly a Frye replacement, as he's that bit shorter so can't really play centre.
Inf, wasn't he one of the players you hoped the Suns would target back on the old board? Or is my memory playing up?

Tolliver & Thomas plus the Morris boys plus draft picks for Love?
Not even sure you can, but you would fill up Minnesotas gaps and not loose too much from last years team.

Tolliver:
“The Suns are an up tempo team, and when I was with Golden State I had a similar style. I’m able to produce at a high level and this style compares to that Golden State team. I can play the three as well, but my natural position is four, rebounding, hitting open shots. The Suns made it clear I’m coming to play the four. Phoenix is a great city, a great family city.”

I don't know too much about him but his release is every bit as fast as Channing's. I just don't think he'll be able to drag those Cs out of the lane, but at least it's extra shooting because he's pretty much just a jump shooter.

I have never been big on Tolliver. He feels like a minimum guy to me. I don't think this is a very good value signing.

I agree. Maybe the second year is not guaranteed or is a team option.

I remember him posterized by Amare.

I was just going to say, I doubt the 2nd yr is guaranteed.

Okay; in that case, I like the contract better.

Tolliver will be able to do what Frye did minus the most moves that Frye would show every now and then but at a cheaper price. We can almost all agree Frye wasn't worst what he got in Orlando.

1. I miss the old Amare, not old Amaré. That guy was so much fun.
2. Leander is such a tool.

Tolliver is a semi-big body with range and six fouls. He's no deal-breker, but he can be a usable asset for a year or so off the bench.
