That guy looks like he’s 5’7 or less and he wears size 11 shoes? Damn.

Kerr and Book talking about his role with Team USA. Book again mentions details of the game...

That’s what I like about KD and Book… they seem to have a deep passion for the intricacies of the game.

For all the talk of KD being the best player or leader of our team, it's Book who's starting for the Olympic team.

They are all badasses. Every game seems similar. The apposition comes out at 110% intensity and the US plays their standard 75%. The opposition plays tough, over plays everything and makes some steals. Then the second string comes in with nobody and the US comes in with All Stars. By half time the opposition was worn down and behind double digits. Half time happens and the opposition rests and comes out with 110% intensity again. That lasts a few minutes and then reality happens.

I watched the 3x3 gold medal game between the Netherlands and France and it was quite interesting. Netherlands won it on a wild last second shot.

During the game when the camera cut to the Netherlands fans in the stands one of them wore a Suns jersey. Did we sign a Netherlands guard a couple of years ago to a two way contract or was it because of the color orange?

Also, what would be a good US 3 on 3 team? Seems like these players are all about 6’ to 6’3 in size and they all have to be able to do a bit of everything, but the most important skill seems to be able to get to the basket. I’m thinking a Dennis Schroeder type would do great on this court.

I think you’re thinking of Gabriel Lundberg…he’s from Denmark…but that reminds me I randomly ran into a dude in Denmark this summer wearing a Booker jersey.

Olympic Basketball is almost boring. Ho hum, another US blowout. Men’s and Woman's.

As it should be, the USA squad is head and shoulders above the world.

You mustn’t have watched the Australia-Serbia men’s game. That was far from boring!

That’s not USA. That’s two other teams. The parity is much better if you subtract the US. Everyone else is fighting for the silver and bronze.

Why is Joel Embiid on our team and not Cameroon? I get that he's a US citizen and eligible for our team. But doesn't he want to play for his country of birth? Aren't they devastated that he didn't play for their team?
