I was told once that you will never be a good coach, without getting your backside handed to you at least once. I think they meant that it's the impetus to improving your craft. Probably could go for any skill or profession, imo.

I wish I’d resisted the urge to look up his stats. 5-8 FT in 11 games.

The real question is, who would want him?

So I should thank my boss for chewing me out yesterday…? Didn’t feel all that motivated somehow. Hmm.
