Didn't know the Spurs were above .500, hopefully the Suns show up ready and locked in.

Old and busted Chris Paul has actually been great for the Spurs, which isn't very surprising. With him and Wemby on the court together they have one of the best defenses in the league. If CP3 can stay healthy this team will be hugely improved. I still want to see how well Paul's body holds up.

Paul is still highly regarded. Case in point:

I’m still a CP3 fan…though I still think whatever curse was placed on him after he turned 37 in the middle of that Mavs series cost us a title. We were the best team that year.

That and not finishing the Finals after up 2-0 really hurt! So close in games 3 & 4 but we couldn't close the deal.

That’s tough because we obviously got closer that year…I just think we did get lucky and we ran into a team that was better than us. We didn’t lose in 2022 because of a better team, we beat ourselves and the other teams got lucky.

For different reasons obviously, I compare us to the 2021 Nets. That team was the best team and should’ve won if they were healthy. We were the best team in 2022 and should’ve won if we played to our ability.

Up 13 at the half…Thunder crushing the Jazz, so we need Memphis to beat Dallas to get in the NBA Cup…Memphis currently up 7

Too much hero ball from Booker and Beal this quarter.

Beal's out of sorts in his first game back. No rhythm, needs to get back to his midrange game.

Feels like we are often losing the end of quarter scenarios. We had the ball with a chance to get a 2 for 1, Booker put us up 9, then we let SA steal the 2 for 1 from us and they out scored us 5-0 to drop it to 4…
