I don't think a hawk can lick its beak. Its tongue is too short. Unless we cut off part of the beak and feed it to him...

Hawks are without Johnson, who is a very good player so a significant out for them. They will throw 48 minutes of solid centre play at us with Capela and Okongwu, which could be an issue. Daniels is a near lock to get 5 steals, and Young is a tough cover for us. They’re not a great team but have strengths that would test us even when we are playing as a cohesive team, which is far from the case.

The issue is they are another NBA team with a roster. Which means a very very high likelihood that they will beat us.

Maybe we should try playing an opponent from the Australian league.

It really isn't fair that all these other teams get to beat up on the Phoenix Suns but we don't get to.

I wouldn't call myself an expert prognosticator, but this kind of feels to me like a game where we are going to get absolutely blown out. Morale is low; we just had a rough loss; Beal and Nurk don't like their roles on the team; KD seems to be checking out; Book has struggled almost all season; some nagging injuries. And on the other side, ATL is a team that can score in bunches and also has some muscle and some lockdown defenders like Dyson and can probably thwart our shitty iso offense. I could imagine Trey going off and just burying us with a bunch of dagger 3s.

Hawks by 20; I'll call it now.

The Hawks must be licking the inside of their cheeks?

Which cheeks are we talking about?

We lost to the Adelaide 36ers in preseason a few years back.

Well they need to lick something! It's not like birds have balls. And yes I did google it "Do birds have testicles?"

Their testicles are on their backs, which would make them difficult to lick.

Their testicles are on their backs, which would make them difficult to lick.
To be more specific:
"Avian Testicular Anatomy. Testes in birds are located deep in the abdominal cavity and are, therefore, visible only after removal of other organs, in particular the intestine. Testes are surrounded by a fibrous capsule that includes connective tissue and contractile fibers".

So on their backs inside. Even worse. On the other hand if they had really long tongues they could access them through their intestines. But since we already established they have short tongues they would have to enlist an anteater (google "What animal has the longest tongue")
