Time: 3:00 pm AZ (2:00 pm PT/5:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: AZ Family 3TV, NBALP
Well, the Suns looked like an actual decent basketball team last time out against the Hawks. Can they do it again? They
should be able to against the lowly Jazz. Royce O'Neale still recovering. Whether Nurkic plays or not will be something to watch. Is he getting traded?

11:00 pm here in Spain. First game in a while I am going to see live. I hope we are not let down like the CHA turd. No Nurkic in itself is good news. Fourth game off the bench by Beal (finally, after his latest two stinkers vs IND and MEM). So far two very good outings (25 points vs PHI and ATL) and one poor show (10 points vs CHA; probably the lowest point of the season for the whole team). Let's also see if Booker can make any threes.

This feels like it could be a big test for the team. Will the team show up? We've seen them often not be ready to start games or play to the level of the comp or not even to the level of the comp. Will Bud have them ready? Will the stars understand this should be an auto W? Will the improvements from the lineup change/sub patterns carryover from the last few games? Will Beal stay engaged in his new bench role? Too often a game like this has been a letdown game. Too often we've looked good for a game or two, act like things are fixed or we've turned a corner and then it's back to the usual stuff. We still haven't had a wire-to-wire win or a blowout. It'd be nice to get one.

Jazz are great to play to get the offense humming…one of the few teams that defend worse than us

I don't think you are supposed to mention the reverse jinx. Pretty sure that nullifies it. Thanks a lot, pal!

All good questions and I'm keen to see the answers as well. First quarter will tell us a lot. Have they learned to not take teams lightly? Will they give maximum effort to start? Will they maintain that effort throughout?

Have we had a single big blowout win this entire season? Even during the great start, it seemed like almost every win was a nail-biter.

We’ve won 3 games by more than 10…11 and 12 point wins and then our one true blowout, a 27 point win over the Lakers during the in season tournament.

Thanks Split. I was racking my brain and couldn't think of one but I do remember the Lakers blowout. So, yes, only one true blowout. If we're going to have one, that's the one team I would have picked to have it against.

The Jazz bums always seem to shoot the lights out against the Suns, namely Clarkson, Sexton and George, I expect a lot of the same because the Suns perimeter effort stinks out loud.

4 of these guys usually have career highs against us so hopefully it will be easier tonight.

Well, yeah, he can only guard one person at a time. I'd even put him on Markkalaneyville. Just put him on the best player that day. At least that's a start.
