Which trade would you prefer within 24 hours?

scouting report (imo)
DURANT ASSETS
* still high-percentage, high scoring who can use his length to get shot off against anyone
* can turn up his defense and offense in clutch situations
* has championship experience
* can't be rattled
DURANT FLAWS
* starting to show his age. The dribble he needs to set himself up, can be disrupted, resulting in turnovers.
* his strength is iso ball, and that is never any team's best option
* not a leader, doesn't make teammates better
BOOKER ASSETS
* effective scorer. can score in bunches
* can handle the ball and assist
* still young
BOOKER FLAWS
* defensive liability (12th lowest rated defender in league)
* when rattled often gets sloppier instead of better
* often reverts to iso hero-ball in clutch situations and takes low-percentage shots
* can be contained with double-team pressure and forced into turnovers
* not a leader, doesn't make teammates better
* top 5 highest salary

I’m conflicted…. Logistically what makes sense is to send Booker out and get the most assets to win now and rebuild in 2 years but I don’t want to send out book.

You don't trade Book right after he's set the franchise points record. It doesn't matter how much tin pleads or whines about him.

Move on from Durant. Get as much as you can. Retool around Booker.

100% agree…. However after the Luka trade, I don’t think anything would surprise me.

Blow it up only makes sense if we can get our picks back. I’m good with adding Butler to KD/Booker or a retool around Booker.

a refreshingly honest answer, Krypt. Basketball is entertainment. It doesn't have to be about winning. If Booker entertains you, that's as good a reason as any to keep him.
for me, it just drives me nuts when players and/or a team keeps repeating correctable mistakes. And though it is more exciting to be competitive in both the regular season and playoffs, I've enjoyed losing seasons too.

Does OKC want a football team? I’d trade them the suns and cards for the thunder. I’d toss in the coyotes too but…
