I watched the Jazz Lakers game last night, and it looks like Luka and LeBron are going to be tough to beat, imo. Also, the Warriors improved with Jimmy. It's not a stretch to say that the Suns may fall to the 12th or 13th position this year.

I think the Lakers / Jazz game was a wait-and-see. The Jazz suck; it isn't that impressive to beat them. And Luka didn't exactly look stellar with 14 and 5. Not saying he/they suck, but I want to see more before deciding how good the fit is there. They still have major defensive problems and no size.

I agree that the Jazz suck and it's still wait and see, but the Lakers are pretty big. Their smallest player in the starting lineup is Reaves standing 6'5".

At this point I’ll be surprised if we even make the play in. I think Jimmy would have made this team a lot better, instead the one team fighting for a play-in spot worse than us got him and now we’ll be on the outside looking in.
I think we might really regret not making the KD to the Warriors trade.

Ya they are big..not a lot of talent at the 5, but they’ve got a lot of size. Defense will definitely be a problem, but good luck having to guard LeBron and Luka in a playoff series 48 minutes a night for 7 games.

Probably. I admit I'm jealous watching the Warriors with Butler. At least if we don't make the play-in, KD gone. Right? Right?! And it's not that I hate him or anything but either Bud can't get him to play the right way or he's not trying. Either way, KD should know better. And we should get a decent to great haul for him. If it ain't working, fix it.

I just don’t think we’re going to get as much as we think for KD…I’m starting to think if Houston doesn’t want him we will be in trouble…Minny said they were interested…could we get Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels for him? That could be interesting…
Book/Beal/McDaniels/Reid…
Would need to move one of Royce or Grayson for a PF with some size I think.

Maybe not but even if we don't, we'll have the funds to pay at least two very good players that may allow us to play better team basketball.

Interesting from the Raptors
I don't even really know where BI ranks these days in "star players"
I saw quite a bit of buzz that Trey Murphy is that dude so wasn't surprised BI got trade to give him the keys and young fella been balling
Will see how it plays out

BI's got all the physical tools for sure but it's hard to say he's a winning player at this point. And while I like a lot of the players on the Raps, right now they feel like a collection of players than a team that really fits together.

Ingram is just not a winning player. He’s not good enough to be the top option for a good team and he doesn’t add any value when he’s not the top option. His best bet would be to get on an elite defensive team that could use his shot creation. Houston maybe could’ve made sense, but they wouldn’t have great spacing. I just think he’s destined to be a good stats, mediocre team guy.

Speaking of guys who aren't winning players, Christian Wood was waived by the Lakers to make room for Alex Len on the roster. Would it make sense taking a flyer on Wood for some 4/5 depth?
