Thanks for all the threads today, Bone.

KD getting 30k points in this game is the perfect encapsulation of this team and its season. An impressive yet meaningless individual milestone while the team itself sucks and struggles.

I wouldn’t say 30k points is meaningless. It’s a huge milestone.

Meaningless to the Suns but not to KD and the history of the league. KD is going to end up being a very expensive mercenary for the Suns that didn't work out and we gave up way too much for. Ishbia is off to a rough start. Two strikes and bunt foul resulting in a strikeout and the first two were huge swinging strikes. (KD, Beal, Camara)

First suns player to ever hit 30,000…that’s kinda cool. But yes I understand ultimately it doesn’t do anything for us. I think it goes like this:

KD trade: Hanging slider that we just missed and fouled straight back to the screen.
Beal: Swing and a miss
Camara: Foul ball down the 3rd base line
Butler: Struck out looking.

Hmm. We have KD back, but the Grizzlies are much better than we are. But it's a home game. But the vibes here in Phx aren't great. Hmm.
