This hasn't aged well. Most of the best stuff is on the non-basketball side.

Well, then we should be in better shape for tonight then. As long as we don't play Dunn and Gillespie, right Bud?

That’s doesn’t change my answer, I don’t think there’s a world where we get a package like that.

Hence the “yeah sure lol”

Ugh. This front office really screwed the pooch.

My guess is we get 2 1sts for Durant, plus one promising youngish player and one salary ballast contract.

Yeah they’re probably just trying to start the negotiations higher. The new info though is that we are trying to send the salary ballast to a third team in order to get below the second apron.

What kind of “rising star” are we talking about?

You didn't watch all-star weekend? It was right in the name of the team. Guys like...Ryan Dunn. Man, it would be great to be able to employ the defense of his on a team like ours. Sorely needed! I wish.

On the other hand, what does it matter if the Suns are not interested in trading Booker?

That's horrible at that age. I'm guessing all that extra weight didn't do him any favors.

I had heard Oliver was not in good shape recently but couldn't find anything posted about it.

RIP Big O.

Sounds like he tried.

Oliver Miller says Sean Rooks' death made him change his diet: "When I heard him pass, it scared the hell out of me"
Oliver Miller was frightened by Sean Marks' death, which spurred him to adjust his diet and reduce weight.

https://www.basketballnetwork.net/off-t ... e-his-diet
Given that diabetes and high blood pressure ran in their genes, Miller finally took his diet seriously. In 2018, he told Fox10 Phoenix that he lost 60 pounds and was able to fit himself in his old Suns' jersey. Today, Miller loves spending time with his grandkids or fishing. And as we saw last January, Big O looks healthier and happier now.

Miller was one of those high IQ players who was fun to watch. He had terrific hands, could really pass the basketball, block shots, defend, and score when he looked to. Yes, he might have been a better player with better conditioning, and possibly lived longer (without knowing the reason he passed), but he was a big part of a special season for the Suns and that's how I'll remember him.
