HIMmy has been really good for the Warriors so far.

Was Jerome just too slow and not ready or not giving a fair chance to find his footing

I'm glad Ty is doing well now, but let's not put this on Monty. He wasn't lighting the court on fire when he did get time, and even during his G-league stints he wasn't killing it. He's clearly worked on his game and grown as a player which is great, but it's not like he left Phoenix and blew up. He went to the Thunder, the Warriors, and now he's found his stride with Cleveland. Good for him, but I'm not going to say Monty didn't give him the time he deserved.

Ty Jerome has blossomed into a great young guard in CLE, but he wasn't showing those flashes here. In fact, he bounced around several teams (OKC, GSW) before landing in a better situation in CLE. I'm happy for Ty, and Monty didn't handle every player situation perfectly, but I don't want to put this one on Monty.

Ty Jerome is like the same age as Booker.

I just watched Halliburton beat the Bucks by 1 on a four point play (fouled swishing a 3) with 3 seconds left.

I’m sure Jalen Smith is a perfectly wonderful guy, but I’m starting to hate him.

He may not have been ready, but his comments do indicate that this was yet another case of “Monty’s doghouse” and playing favorites (remember Landry Shamet?).

Or it indicates nothing…Jerome sucked and Monty didn’t play him. I wouldn’t expect Jerome to be happy about that. Jerome shot 28% from 3 for us…his numbers year by year are funny:

28%
42%
29%
39%
0%
43%

Is the pattern follows, he’s going to be bad next year.

He and Nurk would be a cute couple.

Mikal's been in the crosshairs with Knicks fans a lot of this season for a bunch of reasons - his defense hasn't been as strong, he hasn't been the scorer they expected, and probably won't live up to the 6 picks they gave up or him. But he's stepping up with Brunson out and hit the game winner last night. Finished with 33/4/4 on 13-21.

I just recently binged Mad Men and one of Don Draper's most memorable lines is " 'If you don't like what's being said, change the conversation". Southwest got the message.

So Cavs are losing to the Celtics partly because Mobley and Wade get suspended for taking a step onto the court after Jrue Holiday hip checks Donovan Mitchell into the scoring table?

Sounds familiar.
