So 15-16 games left....I think it really might be time to start sitting certain guys. I think Brad is pretty much done, checked out. I'd sit KD and Grayson seems like he's dealing with an injury that could use some rest so why risk anything with him. Give the rest of the minutes to CG, Book, Dunn, Oso, Martin, Richards, Plumlee, Royce, Tyus. I think we need to see what those guys look like with Book as the 1A and everyone else playing their role. The only issue I see is that I doubt KD will be OK with sitting. It also might be a bit too early to make those decisions while we're still in reach of a play-in spot. But I'd still rather see the what the young guys can do with starter's minutes around Book than continue with what we've seen for 2 years now.

We can't be mathematically eliminated soon enough. Then maybe we can see some effort basketball with Dunn, Oso, KD, and Martin.

No chance KD sits, he’s also going to want to get to 65 games to make all-nba…Beal on the other hand could probably be shut down.

Nah, Bud will still keep playing the veterans.

If we continue to play KD nearly 40 min/game and he gets a bad injury, the coming Suns rebuild could go from 3-4 rough years to 7-8 rough years. Or, we could go from being able to semi-rebuild by trading just KD to needing to trade Booker to do anything this summer. That would be very bad.

He could get a bad injury in practice too…or if he only plays 20 min/game. Just figure out when he’s going to get injured and take him out 1 minute before that.

It's surprising to me that other people, other fans, they actually want to consider the long-term consequences of today’s choices. Are you crazy?! I want us to win
today.
I still can’t believe he actually said that out loud.

Readers have spoken: 4 stars made Phoenix basketball's Mount Rushmore. And who was last?

I bet you all can guess who came in last. Lol. Why was Durant even included? And CP3 was not?

I need y’all to know that while the suns suck, my fantasy team made the finals, so maybe I should be running the suns…

KD back at it on social media. I like Voita of BSoS, think he's one of the more level headed suns writers. And really, we have a good fanbase on social that's pretty even keeled. The KD stans go overboard IMO but the fact that KD is bickering with Suns fans like this....

I don't get it. Sounds like KD is saying why it worked in the 2nd without him. I don't see any bickering.

Maybe, there were other responses in the thread where it seemed like he took it as a shot at him.

It's not fair to say that the Suns had a great 2nd quarter because KD sat. Bud saw that 2nd quarter unit working great and decided to stick with them. That's good coaching. Plus KD gets some much needed rest on a b2b. The comeback against the Clippers occurred with KD in the game along with high effort guys (specifically Collin). Feeding an anti-KD effort just because they had success while he was out isn't going to help. Just gets clicks.
