Gambo made a bet with Burnsy that the suns would win more games next year…before we know what’s gonna happen, I wanna know what people think.

3-9. Just reorganizing the talent distribution should make for an improvement.

Going to be worse…. Nothing this team has done since ishbia took over has improved us, not sure why we think it’s going to magically change. The buck stops with Ishbia and he’s going to micromanage us further into the ground.

So, you expect us to win only 5 games in 5 years from now?

I went with 3-9 fewer wins. Although it’s harder to predict before knowing how many wins we’ll have this season. :P I don’t think we’ll win more than 34, but if we only win 35 this year, that would be only 1 fewer. But somewhere between 26-34 seems about right.

Gotta set the bar somewhere. Might as well be on the floor lol. 😂

I said slightly more. I’m pretty convinced Ishbia will go land someone like Sabonis that makes us a solid team…we’ll win 43-44 games and be a play in team.

I think we'll be worse. We better be, at least. We should be trading KD for picks and youngs, trading Grayson for a pick, trading anybody we can for a pick. Those sorts of moves will make us worse. Plus we'll lose a few serviceable players to free agency such as Tyus Jones and Bol Bol. I don't think we will get as good of players signing here on minimum contracts this summer; we've had the benefit of seeming like a contender the past two offseasons, so random players were willing to come here cheap. Not any more. I get that there may be some "addition by subtraction" but I think we'll have a lot of games like the end of this regular season, where Booker and a plucky squad of young and unproven (but hard-working) players try hard and play well but ultimately lose because they don't have enough firepower. That's okay. I welcome it.

Everything for picks? Have you been listening to Ishbia? Sounds like you're just saying what you'd like to see without regard to our situation and ownership.

How's Ishbia doing with his big decisions? When he makes comments like that it's evident that he's the one pulling the strings. Until he learns to listen to the professionals, we're in trouble.

You're preaching to the choir.

I just can't get myself to vote on this one. I need to see how the team retools. I could see it go either way. I'm still not against a KD/Booker team if they can get the right cast around them. They've failed to do that for 2 seasons in a row. Most of you all probably think that means they will fail for a 3rd season too, but there is a fine line in the NBA between winning and losing. 2 years ago, the Mavs missed the play-in and the next season went to the finals.

Yea there's really no way to tell. I think we could see a team with Book, Dunn, Oso, CG and a few other young guys and the right vets play harder, play better and be more competitive but still lose more games. Like CG, Book, Dunn, Jabari Smith, Richards with Reed Sheppard, a few shooters/defenders, Oso off the bench might win 32-35 games but look a lot better than this year's team. Or they could win 40 and be a play-in team. Either way, I think we'd all feel better about that because then we'd be on the right track.
