1st preseason game so I won't lose it over Allen starting over Dunn, if that is indeed the case.

He may prefer more scoring in the starting lineup.

What’s up guys? Another Suns year begins. How many years has it been now with this place? Let the pain and suffering begin. :)

At what point do they say let’s trade Booker to a contender to let him get a Championship and officially start a rebuild? I don’t know how many more team rebuilds Booker has in him. He’s at his peak right now. Not five years from now. I hope I’m wrong and this team goes on to be the Cinderella team sort of like the Mercury.

My gut says they will be mediocre at best this year and at some point a trade is made before the deadline involving Booker. That would mean another several more years before the next Championship caliber team has any hopes at developing. The curse of the Suns fan.

I know, quit being a Debbie Downer nodack and just enjoy the game for what it is. Entertainment. Like every off season, I shy away from anything Suns. I prefer to come in with a blank canvas starting at the first preseason game and then start finding out who made the cut. I have zero expectations, which is sort of nice. Maybe there is a gem in there somewhere. I guess we won’t know until they play the game. Please surprise me Suns.

The Lakers, James, Doncic, Ayton. Going to be such an easy team to hate this year.

Good to see you, Nodack! It's been a minute. Always happy to have you around. I am pretty pessimistic about this year's team, too, and about our future. I think I would be 100% on board with our roster if we had our draft picks, but alas. The chemistry is probably going to be better than last year, but I just don't see a winning roster or a combination of players that fit well together. And way too many rooks and 2nd-year players to be consistent. But that's okay. We had to reset, and I support that; I just wish we had found a way to get more of our picks back from HOU in the process. I'm going to give them a chance and hope for the best, hope for a fun and enjoyable team and not worry too much about exactly how many Ws we get.

And yeah, FUCK the Lakers. This incarnation of them is one of the most punchable I can remember. I hope they crash and burn and have an absolutely miserable season. Adding DA to their roster could be the Trojan horse that sinks their whole team; here's hoping.

BTW, that starting lineup is labeled, "Possible 2025-26 Suns Starters". So, it might very well be different. We know Williams isn't playing so Richards is probably a lock at center. Book and Green are a lock at guards. Brooks probably is a lock at one of the forward spots. That leaves the other forward spot the only real question mark. I'm with you that it should be Dunn to complete the famous country and western stars combo at forwards.

Glad you're back, 'Dack. 8-) But I think you're wrong about Booker. I know you don't pay attention to what's going on Suns in the offseason but everything Booker says points to him being a Suns lifer. He wants a championship here not elsewhere.

Oddly enough the Mercury were built just like the past Suns were, get a few stars and hope the nobodies work out. Worked for them, not for the Suns.

Like "Nodack" said, I'm also one who disappears in the summer and every time I come back and give a shout out to you guys that keep the forum going through the dog days of summer

That Jalen update is a bit of a bummer
I think he can have a good season and early setbacks are never ideal
