Game Day: Suns (1-0) @ Clippers (0-1), Fri 10/24/25

Time: 7:30 pm AZ (7:30 pm PT / 10:30 pm ET)
Place: Intuit Dome, Inglewood, CA
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBALP

The Clippers got embarrassed by the Jazz Wednesday night which will make this game that much tougher for our Suns. This will be the Clippers home opener. Bradley Beal may be out for revenge or more likely, he'll be yucking it up with Booker and the Suns. For whatever reason, we had the Clippers number last season.

Can't wait to see Suns star PF Ryan Dunn back in action tonight. Williams will replace Oso as the starting center. I expect the Suns to be a little more settled on offense, and a little more confident on defense. It will be interesting to see how we handle a better team.

Advanced stat to watch: Reserve center Nick Richards is averaging career-highs of 20 rebounds and 60 points per 36 minutes. Can he keep up his stellar production?

It is really encouraging that we have decent bigs this year. I want to see how they fare against Zubac, an excellent and underrated center who gives a lot of teams problems. I don't really know what to make of the Clippers; they have a ton of talent on their roster, but I don't like how old they are, and the Kawhi/Ballmer scandal hangs over them like a dark cloud. If I had to bet, I would guess they hit the "under" and have a tough season.

1. I think the Sun's crappy center rotation last season is the primary reason they sucked so bad last season. The defense and rebounding were historically bad. The clear improvement in the center rotation is the main reason that I picked the Suns to go over their over/under and exceed last year's win total.

2. I know many pundits are high on the Clippers, but I'm uncertain. I think they won't live up to expectations, but it could go either way. I wanted to pick them as an Under but didn't because it might be more wishful thinking than reality. It's hard to tell after the first game of the season. For example, the 2006-07 Nash-led Suns team struggle at the start of the season (1-5) then had several double-digit win streaks later in the season, including a 15-game win streak and later a 17-game streak. That 17-game streak was only broken because Gilbert Arenas scored 154 points the night after the Suns got stuck in a Denver snow storm and arrived in Phoenix only a few hours before game time. (Copilot says Arenas only scored 54, but that doesn't feel right.. pretty sure it hallucinated and dropped the leading 1)

I'm an Oso fan, think he can still contribute in the right role
Matchup vs Zubac size might be tough but I respect that we have a plan in place for Williams

Either way, let's make these old geezers sweat tonight

I have a memory of Dunn giving Harden trouble, not sure if I mistaken but let's see how this goes

Booker is playing some nice defense early in this one.

19-14 Suns. Phoenix is playing really well as a whole. My only complaint is Brooks taking a bad off balance 3.

Clips as a whole don't look good, but Harden has been able to create problems for us any time he wants. Luckily, they aren't going to him much yet.

Gotta give Oso some props, too. He has been confident and aggressive.

And they absolutely fell apart after the subs came in. That flagrant really pulled the momentum away from the Suns.

Good game so far. Clippers have no business losing this after that Utah performance lol

Im not one to be petty but my balls would jiggle a little if we can get the win tonight after the rockets looked terrible against the pistons and now are 0-2.

Drop off in BBIQ from Oso to Williams is very tangible
