Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: AZ Family 3TV, NBALP
Suns final home game against the Spurs this season is tonight. Both teams a little beaten up. Wemby out. Both playing well though in spite of it. Spurs have won 6 of the last 8 while the Suns have won 9 of the last 11. De'Aaron Fox is always dangerous in a close game so...how about we don't make it close?

I think I agree with Olson. With Wemby out tonight, we would be better served to save Williams for Monday against the Rockets if they won't allow him to play both games.

Absolutely Williams should sit out tonight if he's not playing B2Bs. We need Williams against the Rockets' frontcourt with Sengun, Adams and even Capela. We should be able to beat the Spurs with Richards and Oso.

I disagree, spurs are the more likely win…don’t get cute, just go make sure you beat the spurs. Houston is already a likely schedule loss. You sit Williams tonight and you might get 2 losses. Spurs have been winning without Wemby.

That's a good point as well. I see both sides. Never going to pencil in a scheduled loss though for this team.

Yeah, I totally agree. Get the win tonight and don't worry about the Rockets. Sure it'd be nice to stick it to KD but I think we need to be whole to beat them anyway. There's no way we do it with Green, Grayson and Dunn out. You're just risking Williams getting hurt for little return.

KD is out for tomorrow's game with a family issue, according to

It's about matchups. The Spurs have better perimeter players we need to focus on and without Wemby they have less size. We shouldn't need Williams for Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk. The Rockets have Sengun and Adams that we need the big bodies (and fouls) for.

Williams value will be making the spurs bigs pay for being too small. The rockets are going to pound us on the glass whether we have Williams or not.
But it really just comes down to the more winnable game and that’s the spurs one to me. Sitting Williams is setting you up for a lot of Nick Richards or Maluach and watching the spurs take advantage and steal one. Just go win it and deal with Houston later.

IMO I would rather play Williams tonight and sit him against HOU. I think this game (minus Wemby) is the more winnable one.

No Dunn or Fleming tonight. Was afraid Dunn would miss time after that fall. I suspect we'll see NHD.
Would love to see Grayson back soon.

A lot of Brooks offense in the first with somewhat predictable results early. There is a tipping point when you have too many key pieces out and we are right on the edge of that - looking a bit out of sync in the first.

Really nice couple of minutes from Livers there - back to one the difference!

We have missed some wide open 3s. But generally need to stop fouling and get more out of Williams and Royce on offense. Feels like it is going to be a choppy, messy game for us, so just need to take our chances when we get them.

I think we just missed 7 shots at the rim in one possession. We've missed at least half a dozen at the rim so far.

We are giving up a lot of dunks - too easy on that end in the last minutes.

This Spurs team seems really beatable without Wemby, which is why all the mistakes we're making are frustrating to me. We keep missing little gimme shots at the rim and wide open jumpers. And we keep letting them stroll to the basket. Tighten things up a bit and we could be way ahead instead of down 6.

Not a good challenge from Ott there, even if we are copping a raw deal from the refs late in the second.
