PHOENIX -- Former Phoenix Suns player Rex Chapman has been arrested by Scottsdale police on suspicion of multiple shoplifting incidents, according to a Scottsdale PD release.

That's just sad. I'll never forget jumping around my living room when he hit that off-balance 3 against the Sonics to send a playoff game to overtime. It's just too bad we went on to lose that game (and the series), if I remember right.

There are certain players you expect to succeed post basket ball--like Grant Hill. There are certain player you think will struggle. Rex was one of those I thought would succeed.

I thought it was odd that was in our front office, then left because he wanted to coach but took a FO position with the Nuggets? After that, you never really heard about him moving up or around the league. He just kind of went away, until now.
