Yeah, crap - looks like my nocturnal ass won't be getting much sleep today.
Again.
I'll be keeping eyes & ears open throughout for any word on the Morris twins' extensions, though.....

However, I do fully expect a group photo of the brothers Morris & brothers Dragic to get posted about 30 seconds or so after the day's wrapped up.....

This media day has to have a lot more (realistic) optimism than the last couple of them did, that's for sure.

Ha ha! That's hilarious, Carey. This one made me LOL: "Worked with Hakeem".

I'm about 35 miles or so west of downtown Phoenix, but yeah - I'm nocturnal as well, hence the wee hours posts.
And carey, you forgot the "Healthiest I've been in years" curse - both Bryant and Nash have already dropped that little gem, per this article.

And of course they're both "older than they've been in years" so Lakers fans shouldn't be to unrealistic about their outlook this season.

Crazy that Nash is 40 and will be 41 in February. What's the over/under for games played before injured?

Bledsoe was all smiles in the interview I just watched with Tom Leander. Great to see.

I want to hear them ask the vets that were part of the pre camp scrimmage games, "Who is going to surprise people this year?"

Well the best part of the new Rise network is that they seemed to have fixed their audio issues for press conferences. The last few years the audio has been horrible. Embarrassingly so.

Alright - I'm watching the Media Day video and............they really need to fire this Esposito character and all his little "fun" games he's throwing at players. The conversation is into basketball, expectations, chemistry, national team etc. when Leander's on the mic, but once Esposito gets his turn, he jumps in with "Ok, what movie deserves a sequel?" "We gotta fun little game we're gonna play, ok - it's called 'J.T. (Justin Timberlake) or Plumlee".
I'm sure Esposito is a decent enough person off the set, but after watching/reading him on occasion over the last couple of years, I've got to ask:
Who the FUCK did this guy blow to land that job?
Chrissakes, me and my fucking stammer are less irritating and mind-numbing.....
