Game Day (Exhibition): Suns @ Rockets, Mon 10/13/14

Time: 5:00 pm Arizona/Pacific (8:00 pm ET)
Place: Toyota Center, Houston, TX
TV: NBATV

Dwight Howard is out due to a sore knee. Harden also might not play because of a bruised hip. Big Arizona connection though also with Jason Terry and Nick Johnson. Ish Smith landed with the Rockets and has played big minutes in a backup role so far this exhibition season. Houston, like us, is 2-0 in exhibition play. Marcus started at SF in game one, Tucker in game two, could we see Warren start at SF in game three?

Go Suns!!!

If they aren't playing Howard, that changes the feel of the game considerably. I still think we are going to be hurting when we play against big front lines and imposing centers. I want to see us get tested by a big team, but I guess we won't get that tonight. Still, I'll be watching :-)

Damn, is it good to have some games to talk about! Even if they're meaningless preseason games. Let's keep the guys' minutes down, please, Coach.

Harden just doesnt want to deal with PJ. PJ is merciless on him.

I like that, matchup-wise. If we start Bledsoe, Dragic and Warren, Harden will have to be responsible for one of them, and any one of them should be able to take advantage of his defensive laziness.

"Laziness"?

cap, I doubt there's a word in the English language to describe Harden's defense :

The opening of the broadcast gave us zero information about the Suns & we get 3 Rocket homers as broadcasters including Clyde the Glide.

Plumlee makes a dumb mistake then doesn't bother to hustle. I'm not happy with him lately.

Everyone looks awful. They are pushing the pace but making bad passes & can't finish.

Markieff is pretty good at picking up cheap fouls, and travelling. Goran looks good.

Not looking good. Plumlee sucks. Too much partying in old town Scottsdale.
