Building my suns in 2k15...advice?

... So I finally broke down and bought 2k for this year. The suns' roster is pretty much current, but I find myself wanting to (realistically) tweak the roster to maximize ye Olde fun factor.

Basically, I'm just asking all you guys what kinda realistic scenarios/players that I could target. My main thing right now is jettisoning the mobros while maximizing playing time for tj and Archie.

Thanks for any input! I do realize this stuff is rather trivial, but compared to the real-life suns... :P

I have had the game for awhile and played out many scenarios.

Gerald Green for Terrance Ross and a round 1 pick
Danny Granger for Tony Snell
Brandon Wright for Rudy Gobert
Marcus Thornton for Thad Young

Not any real blockbusters for me, I enjoy playing w/ the core in tact.

The Morri for Monroe works straight out.
Thomas for Brandon Bass. (Instead of Thornton would have made me really happy)

Bummer... you are right that this is more interesting that the current season.

The bs thing in GM mode is that they don't give you the picks we are owed by the heat etc. I typically force a trade to get these picks. Playing Len at pf can be quite effective if you run plays that put him near the hoop. I tend to trade for athletes since speed is so important in that game. Which is why I hang on to green and trade the Morri

Can I ask does anyone play on mycareer mode? If so and you are a pg, what's the best way to beat full court pressure? My teammates won't stay in the right spots for easy hoops when I get double teamed etc. the computer picks of passes with ease. It's a frustrating part of the game. Can seem to find tips on it any where. icon passing isn't enough

in the game, even though rosters can be current, player abilities are not... which is why you can actually make brandon wright for gobert type trades (no disrespect cbesch5). so you can make an approximation of real life, but you can never quite get there...

i play mycareer mode, but i'm not all that good at this game, so i don't know if my strategy of running away and making the sg bring the ball up helps you at all. i tend to stand close enough to bail him out when he gets trapped, or sometimes i go to set him a pick to free him up. i do play on starter level (which is a euphemism for easy level) though so ...

I quit playing basketball video games after NBA Live 95, a masterpiece.

I still have NBA live 96 on my lap top. Hornacek is great in that game

The trick is to pass as soon as the double team comes.

Obviously, if you have a low playmaking skill you won't be sucessful most of the time.
A great way to get more VC is to play NBA 2k15 app for ios or android.
You can get a 1000 vc per day at least and it's fun.

In certain cases, like mine, when I don't have the time to play a lot, it helps to get better way quickly.

thanks. I use the VC farming technique. Takes a while to setup but then its quite handy.

with the press, whats the best way to get by your own defender? Sometimes somewhat unrealistically a lone defender are able to block your path and lock you down after the inbounds leading to near 8 second calls. Plus your teammates don't come to your support, resulting in bad passes. Whats the best way to beat that one guy who pressures you the length of the court?

usually with that sorta situation i find that those spin moves are reasonably effective. in a crowd though any time you do those spins the ball bounces off somebody and results in a turnover...
